Education

2007 – 2010

Dublin City University, Multimedia

I received a B.Sc. in Multimedia. In this course I learned the basics of multimedia software and techniques as well a deep understanding of the media environment. My classes included Photography, Web Design, Film Studies and Script Writing. I followed up the techniques learned in this degree to a more advanced level in my own time both during the degree and after.

2004 – 2007

Dublin City University, Physics

I had an interest in Physics coming from the Leaving Cert but I eventually realised that it just wasn’t for me so I did an internal transfer and switched over to DCU’s multimedia course in 2007. I was doing multimedia projects in my own time anyway so it made sense to follow it up with a degree in the area.

Freelance

Since July of 2016 I’ve been working as a freelance graphic designer, working mainly on creating small to medium size websites using WordPress. I am also available for video and photography work. You can find samples of my work here.

About Me

I am a media enthusiast. I like to keep up on current trends of all types of digital and print media. I especially enjoy photography and investigating what is possible with the combination of camera and software such as Photoshop. Fitness is also a hobby of mine. I like to keep fit by going to the gym and going for runs and I regularly enter myself into races and endurance events. I play team sports whenever I can such as football and tag rugby.
